Which files can I make smaller?
Photos, videos, PDFs, and audio files. JPG, JPEG, PNG, TIF, TIFF, BMP, PDF, MP4, MOV, AVI, MP3, WAV, M4A.
Will my photos and videos still look good?
Make files smaller while keeping them useful for everyday viewing and listening. Some detail can be lost, so keep a backup of important originals. We only replace a file when the new version works and takes up less space.
How does this free up space?
Compress.my makes the photos, videos, PDFs, and audio in your Google Drive smaller. Your files stay in the same folders, so you get more room without downloading and uploading everything yourself.
Can I try it before paying?
Yes. Check your Drive for free and try shrinking up to 1 GB of files. You can review the result before choosing a larger plan.
Will this free up space in Gmail or Google Photos?
Compress.my works on files in Google Drive. It does not shrink your emails or the photos stored in Google Photos.
What am I paying for?
Try shrinking up to 1 GB of files free. Need more? Pay once for the amount of files you want to shrink. The space you save depends on your files. $9.99 / 15 GB, $9.99 / 100 GB, $14.99 / 200 GB, $19.99 / 2 TB · one-time.
Will my files stay in the same folders?
Your file names, folders, links, and sharing stay the same.
How much space will I save?
Example only. How much space you save depends on your files and the quality you choose.
How big can each file be?
Each image can be up to 256 MiB (about 268 MB). Each PDF, video, or audio file can be up to 8 GiB (about 8.6 GB). Larger files are left unchanged. If we do not make any files smaller, you can use your plan again.
